This is such a flavourful sauce. Inspired by harissa paste intense flavour and texture, our Chipotle-Lemon Sauce can be blended until smooth or left as in this case, chunky and with texture. It becomes a beautiful marinade and an incredible sauce combined with yoghurt.

Chipotle-Lemon Sauce

-2 Chicken Breast

-1 tbsp ground cumin

-1 tbsp smoked paprika

-1 tbsp ground coriander

-3 whole Chipotles in Adobo La Costena finely chopped

-2 small garlic cloves, crushed

-1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

-½ lemon juice and zest

-1 tsp salt

-1 tsp black pepper

1 In a small bowl mix the cumin, paprika, coriander, chipotles, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and zest and pepper. Taste and add salt to taste. 

2 Pat dry the chicken breast and add about two tablespoons of the harissa inspired chipotle sauce. Brush well all over the chicken and let it marinate for at least half an hour inside the fridge. 

3 Grill the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.


To Serve

-Greek, Turkish Yoghurt or Labneh

-Chipotle-Lemon Sauce

-Grilled veggies, quinoa or rice. 

-Grilled lemon slices
