Steak Fajitas Recipe
We know how busy we all are these days and sometimes there is no time to cook long recipes, especially during weekdays, all we want is to cook something quick, easy and delicious and our steak fajitas are all that. The Fajita seasoning from “Sazon Natural” is the quickest and easiest option to make this classic fajita recipe in no time.
Everybody loves fajitas, it is the perfect recipe for an informal dinner party with friends and family or just for feeding your family when in a hurry.
Time 45 min
- For the Steak Fajitas
- 750 g bavette steak or your favourite steak
- 2 tbsp Sazon Natural Fajita flavour seasoning
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 yellow bell peppers
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped coriander
- 1 medium white onion
- 1 lime
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Warm Mextrade Fresh Corn Tortillas
- Sour cream
- La Costeña Taquera Spicy salsa
- La Costeña whole Black Beans
Sliced into strips the bell peppers and onion.
Season the steak with 1 tbsp of Sazon Natural Fajita seasoning and set aside.
Lay all the toppings ready: sour cream, guacamole, warm corn tortillas, spicy salsa and black beans.
On a skillet or frying pan, heat the oil and fry the steak to your taste* then set aside to rest.
While the steak is resting, add a bit more oil to the skillet where the steak was cooked and add the bell peppers and onion, add the juice of a lime and 1 tbsp of fajita seasoning. Fry for 10 min.
To serve, slice the steak and serve it on top of the vegetables. Place some fajitas on a warm corn tortilla and add all the toppings. Enjoy them with some very cold beers.
*As a rule of thumb for a steak 22mm thick
cook 2 minutes each side for rare
3-4 mins each side for medium-rare
4-6 mins each side for medium
For well done, cook for 2-4 minutes each side, then turn the heat down and cook for another 4-6 minutes.
