Green salsa is made with tomatillos and jalapeno peppers. It is not a very hot salsa but spiciness is very relative to each individual. I would say is medium level. This salsa is perfect for tacos, dipping and even making enchiladas. The flavour is tart, and zesty, a very traditional Mexican flavour. The texture on La Costena products is more chunky (more homemade style) than the Clemente Jaques which I find smoother.
Suggestions: dice avocado and stir with this salsa for an extra delicious and personal twist.

Notes: Our salsas sold in glass bottles last a long time inside the fridge, at least two weeks (or more). Any leftovers from the tin can salsa should be stored in a glass jar and inside the fridge for better shelf life.
