One of the most traditional Mexican ingredients. Basic for many sauces and dishes. The flavour is tart, and zesty and it goes so well with chiles (fresh and dried). It can be used fresh, roasted or cooked. The tomatillos we sell have been cooked and preserved at their prime so they are ready to be used.

Notes: Once open, any unused tomatillos have to be stored in an air-tight container and used for under two weeks. They can spoil easily.
